today is the anniversary of the death of chun tae-il, the martyr of the korean labor movement. he was 22 years old when he lit himself on fire and ran through the streets screaming OBEY THE LABOR LAWS! WE ARE NOT MACHINES!

In other news, I am sick, sleep-deprived, and ready for a vacation. I rented the korean drama "winter sonata", all 10 dvds of it, and have watched 5 hour-long episodes so far today and am still going strong. nice. exciting updates will have to be saved for another day.
