Oh praise the gods and little fishes, it's the end of term. Tomorrow is the last day on which I have to gouge myself out of bed at 6am for purposes of staggering zombie-like into an 8am class and eliciting actual responses from a zombified class by means of fishhooks, forceps and cardboard-and-string ( Read more... )

You could come to the Sewing Circle at my place on Sunday. Both w_n and I will be on hand for knitting enquiries. It's not just for sewing, I plan to knit as well.

Join them...go to the sewing circle...

I am in a group here called Crafternoon, we drink tea and share baked goodies every second sunday (and do craft too). It so rocks! We have actually had exhibitions and stuff and last week was our AGM (!) which is way proactive but mostly it is about the coolness of craft!

I live in Australia but if you ever happen to be down this way you are welcome.

We could set up an underground railroad of craft groups/sewing circles for international travellers (it would certaintly mean having your needes confiscated on the plane would not be as much of an issue) :-)
