HERE IS A STORY I WANT: the one where Stephane comes to California to choreo for Denis Ten, and since Denis and Mirai are training partners OF COURSE this means that Stephane and Mirai strike up an immediate friendship! He and Mirai and Denis become a tripartite of lolzy BFFs -- Stephane is good with teenagers, he prides himself on being able to understand their adolescent angst -- and there are so many shenanigans including but not limited to Stephane helping Mirai & Denis cheat on their training diets and bringing them for ice-cream. Meanwhile Evan is like *lurklurk* in the background because... he thought he was filling the older brother role in Mirai's life! Thing. Until Mirai explains that, don't worry Evan, I still like and respect you very much. Stephane doesn't teach me how to drive!*
* I also want the story where Evan teaches Mirai to drive.
Eventually the program is choreographed, and Mirai watches it and tells Denis one day: "Stephane's a great skater, but you need to skate like yourself more." And Stephane hears and gets SO HURT! Eventually he is like, "No, I am not angry at all, but do you think he is skating too much like me D:" because obviously Stephane is all about developing your own skating personality, and Mirai is like, "No! ... well, yes. Kind of." and there are hugs, and I don't even know, okay, I just want a fic where Mirai and Stephane are in the same place and they are hilarious friends.
Also, Denis Ten is a tiger.
