the (wo)man who can't be moved
this was such a fun, surreal weekend because of:
1. movies - i got to watch eagle eye on friday. then my best friend's girl and babylon ad (in two malls! and well, watching two movies in a day = first time. sharing.). then sisterhood 2 on sunday. i haven't seen a movie since... hmm. see? i can't even remember. and to think i used to be able to watch at least one movie a week. tsk tsk.
2. resolutions - well, i made and changed a number of resolutions this weekend. and i resolve that this resolution would be my last, for the week at least - what it should come down to is what i really, really want. i shouldn't care too much about "winning" because really, who's keeping score? i know what makes me happy, and i know what i want - i should stick with that instead of worrying about opportunity costs and collateral damage and all those other things. yay.
3. grocery shopping options - so okay, my lola's wake = sm centerpoint in close proximity. i had to go and buy food and various other things for the wake, and i discovered what a huge treasure trove the mall's supermarket was. i'm a sucker for designer shampoos and lotions and all, and they've got a wide variety - pantene ice glacier shine (or something), other exotic sounding shampoos, conditioners, and creams, olay's in-shower body lotion (i love this - it smells great. my skin smells nice and feels soft even after 8 hours or so). and they have imported teas and hard-to-find items. winner.
4. great food - taters popcorn is the best (rivaled only by rob cinemas' butter popcorn. yum.). cibo has got to be my go-to resto (challenge ang pag-order ng ick na pagkain. cough*blonde*cough, lol.), and pazzo is such a delightful find (the australian rib-eye+mozzarella = haaay.)
5. people - "people are what matters" - meredith grey. you know who you are. ;)

speaking of dark and twisty meredith, i just want to say that I WON!
there's this caption contest on the grey's anatomy site - they show a picture, and you're supposed to submit witty and funny lines that would correspond to the picture.
and well i won. hehe. i'm happy. lalalalalalalalalala.
and grey's has returned to being able to make me feel/empathize again. lalalalalalalalala.
