A frustrating farewell?
Tomorrow I am going to meet with the Lynchburg College admissions counselor. I plan to transfer from RMWC er...RC and finish my degree at LC. The frustrating part is I will not be carrying over the credits from this semester with me so I basically lost a semester. I most likely wont be able to get into LC int he next 4 days so my plan is to take the 2nd round of 8week classes at CVCC and work on my math and get chemistry and physic out of the way. Also do that over the summer and work for AFLAC and continue with LC in the fall that way I wont fall behind at all. Its sickening to think of the money I have wasted but quite frankly I cant grasp walking into a job interview and saying hello my name is Lindsay Sabey and I graduated from Randolph college...yes sir Randolph college, it used to be a prestigous women's college...yes sir I did say used to be. I also graduated with a 2.0 (or some other lower GPA) but I swear that is equivalent to a 3.5 anywhere else. Yeah, Randolph College is not oing to appeal to anyone looking to hire someone especially not with all the drama stirred up there I am just fed up with it all. I am probably going to lose my scholarship anyways and I just dont feel like busting my butt to graduate from Randolph College. I would much rather bust my butt to graduate from Lynchburg College another Ivy League school whose prestige is not going to be going anywhere. With the rate of transfers I honestley dont even know if Randolph College will be in existence in 10 years. I enjoyed it while I was there minus Professor Denvir. So yeah its not set in stone but pretty much. Its really too bad..
