After some thought...
I've come to the conclusion that the ignorant and the enlightened do the same things in life, but for the different reasons.
It tends to be the people in between that seem to screw up the most.
...ok. I just wanted to write that down somewhere so that thought doesn't pop into my mind again, nagging me to death until I wrote it down.
Anyway, classes finished today so all I have left are finals and I've finally graduated college. There's this feeling of finality to it that makes me a feel both anxious and uneasy...odd considering that I'm graduating a year late as it is. I guess just because you know something is coming up doesn't neccessarily make you any better prepared for it :)
I was planning on completing my MBA here at Bing, but both my lack of (what I perceive) quality of the classes and a number of real-world obligations that are catching up to me has made me decide to take up a job up in Buffalo, NY as a Comp. System Analyst. It's a bit of a pay cut from what I could've gotten as a programmer, but uh...considering how programming for more than few hours a day makes me want to bash my face into the keyboard, I figure this is a nice compromise.
Not being able to work near the city like I hoped sucks, but I figure I can always switch after a few years when the opportunity arises.
So to bring up my checklist:
1)Graduate from School -Check
2)Find Job -Check
3)Find love & happiness -Hmmmmm...
