Note: Your character will and must retain their canon personality, but canon and AU histories do not have to be the same or even similar. Want to make Xanxus a flaming gay male stripper before he wakes up as mob boss!Xanxus? Go ahead, although mob boss!Xanxus might be a bit pissed to find that out. Also, physical attributes can change: for example, characters could wake up and find that they're deaf, or someone like Tousen from Bleach could wake up to realize that he has sight. Bottom line: stick in whatever you want, but the end result is mostly canon no matter what, since your character has no memory of the experiences.]
