Dude, those boots are awesome. (What cut of jean do you wear, out of curiosity? I always thought it would be super-uncomfortable to wear pants tucked into boots like that.)
I have always wondered the same thing! I was wearing "skinny jeans" (not tight ones) in that photo, but at the store I experimented with tucking in my flares, and they worked pretty well because these boots are slightly too big for me so there's some space. I won't lie, it can be uncomfortable if you get the end of the seam digging into your ankle, and sometimes it takes a few tries to get the jeans arranged just right, but ultimately it works great and it actually feels nice and cozy because your legs aren't exposed to the air at all! I suggest going to a store and giving it a whirl to see if you like it. :)

make sure you spray your shoes to protect them from the salt! sorry if you already knew that, but many of my out-of-state friends have had ruined shoes that way :(

Serenity. I love this movie and I love Firefly. It was easily one of the best tv shows ever and Fox are assholes for canceling it.

I actually saw Serenity before I ever saw Firefly, and I still kind of prefer the movie. It's been too long since I watched it! Must remedy this.
