i got my second homework assignment back in econometrics today, and i got a 2.67 out of 4, which is a 67%. the problem is that i didn't actually get 33% of the questions wrong. as a matter of fact, i went back and counted, and i found that i had only gotten 5 things wrong out of the 36 things that she graded, which comes out to 87%. 67 = not 87. fortunately, this only translates into a little under 1% reduction of my overall grade. but i'm pretty sure this happened on the first homework, and i'm willing to bet it will keep happening. which could mean that i could lose about 5% of my grade that i actually earned.
and that's not the biggest problem. the biggest problem is that i'm afraid she's going to do this on the midterm. if she cheats me out of 20% of my midterm grade, i draw the line there. that's just not fair.
