(no subject)
i hate ups. i really really do. i'd much rather use fedex, but amazon only uses ups. they tried to deliver my package today while i was in class and left one of those notices that they missed me.
1) "we will try again sometime tomorrow after 2pm". seriously? fuck you. i don't have time to sit infront of my house all day waiting for you. and no, i don't want to leave the little slip signed on the front door because that's book costs $150.
2) why is there no distribution center around here where i can just go and pick up my package. instead i have to call them, and then leave all this information, and then wait for someone to call me back "within the hour" to make plans to pick it up or something. i like how if i miss the package at fedex, i can literally just go pick it upwhen i get out of class.
update: they just called me back with an address telling me i can pick it up between 7:30 and 9. it still would have been nice if they could have just told me that the first time i was on the phone. or maybe if they'd given me the address and time on the slip they left me.
