Requires full version of Warcraft III to play

Well, I finally got the new computer working. I must say...i fucking love it. Warcraft 3 is so smooth on this computer. During large battles, i could finally micro (Micro-Manage: Controlling units individually. E-Rock ed.)! On my old computer, all i could do is pray that my armies wins. That required that i make way too many units than i needed (and hence spend too much resources). It's so great.

I got the core programs installed. I tried installing Red Hat today. Failed. It couldn't find my hard drive. It's a Serial ATA hd. That's probably why. I still need to figure out how to finish the install.

The only bad thing is that lately i've been working lots (and closing, no less). So the only time i've been able to enjoy my new computer is when i get up (around 11am-12 noon) until i get ready for work (around 3-4 pm) and after work (1-4 am). But i've got 2 days off and i intend to use them.

The only bad thing about my new computer: It's another heat source. That's something i could go without, especially during the summer. My mother, she's not a normal mother. In summer, we either keep the A/C off; when it's on, it's set to 25 fucking degrees. When it's winter, the heater is always on, but it's always set to 15 fucking degrees. Go figure. So during the summer, at night, when the A/C is off, and i'm up late on my computer, it's 50 degrees in my room. It'll be nice in the winter though, that's for sure. And winter here is about 6 months long anyway, so that works out nicely.

Despite all that, my mom still makes the best cookies. And the best grilled cheese sandwiches. I don't understand. It's only bread, butter and cheese, but she makes it 50 times better than me.

At work today, i tried sweeping this girl off her feet. Literally. All i succeeded in doing was making her wet.

But at least i got a laugh out of a few people.

Finally moving around at work. This past weekend i was pseudo-trained as cashier. Next weekend i'll be trained in the bar. Finally. No more kitchen slavery. No more table scrubbing.

And apparently i'm a Denial Goth (according to some quiz).

Some old people were paying for their bill. They screwed up their interac, so i needed to swipe her card again. The old woman's daughter said "Mom, give her your card. She has to swipe it again."

I just kinda look at her stupidly and continue. I thought that was funny. I didn't say anything cause then she'd feel stupid.

Granted, my hair is long. Also granted, i shave very often and the lighting in the restaurant is low. Granted, my nametag says "E-Rock". Granted, i used a bobby pin to keep the hair away from the 2 new holes in my ear. You do the math.

It is now late and i want to sleep. I got a long day of playing on my computer tomorrow. Night all.

eXrock out.
