Hey kids, i'm co-running a monthly goth night (MIDIAN) and i'm super excited to have such a cool oppurtunity so come out and support on Wed. Nov. 29th. It's $5 for 2 bands and some great DJs playing in a cool space (Asylum Bar). BTW, the more you drink the better it is for our night (hah). Not to mention, what else is there to do on a fucking wednesday night anyway?!
Here is the info you've all been waiting for. MIDIAN will be returning as a monthly showcase of live music, art and DJs on November 29th (and the last Wednesday of every month there after) at Asylum. This gives us the ability to choose only the best preformances and make a great show for you each month. And this month is no exception.
Live on stage:
WORMS OF THE EARTH, a band that is nearly visionary in forecasting the sounds that they believe are going to sweep elektro into an entirely different form. It is hypnotic, damn great elektro and they urge you: Don’t miss this rocket ride into desolation and dementia. Worms of the Earth is already possessed of it's own identity, full-grown and ready to do battle. War streams into our consciousness once again…. Worms of the Earth offers you an awakening, a becoming. Experience "Earth" as the last stop en route to the Apocalypse.
Plus ABIKU recently relocated to Baltimore from Philly. Abiku blends raw punk energy with electric rythms. check out there myspace for info as well as a recent city paper article bout them.
