Glorious Weekend.
Further to my fantabulous Saturday with my inlaws I had a stellar Sunday.
We worked on the back beds all day, cleaning up the raspberry, mowing the lawn, tending the grass, cutting back raspberries, cleaning out the last of the debris, setting up our outdoor lamps. The roses and lillies are both looking quite good, and we've got some new Bleeding heart coming up. Still have a number of things to move around so that they stop choking each other.
We listened to good music and worked together till we were both stiff and sore.
It was magnificent.
Then I made a shrimp pasta dish for dinner. Tasted great, but I think the shrimp might have turned slighly, we've both had belly problems.
Leaf is back in action, I need to do a few last things, but she's more or less complete. And reviewing some of my work this morning I could only come to one conclusion.... I can do this thing. I just need to do it.
My thoughts today are with all of you dealing with the TTC strike, and with a certain friend who's life is in upheaval.
