I don't think it was a terrible move on the Cullen's part. They're still trying to protect her. Bella was the one who insisted from the beginning that she wanted to be changed, and they acquiesced - she's the one who reneged. What could they do?
I am looking forward to meeting Lila. *rubs hands together* I remember Lindsay from your last story, and I liked her. Let's see what Lila brings to the table. LOL

Thanks for the review, bb! I've gotten some mixed reactions, though most think the Cullen's did what they had to. Even though they might have their own purposes.

And yes, Lila... I'm feeling the pressure. lol I liked Lindsay, too (yay, I can create a likeable character of my own!), though Lila is still in the early stages. ;) Thanks for reading/reviewing!

All of that, please.
And I like how Leah and Bella are becoming... well, allies, I'd call it. Though Leah calling Bella out on shit she did out of heartbreak will forever make me want to tell her, "Honey, I'd like to remind you that the kettle and the pot are both black, whichever way you turn it."

Anyways, looking forward to the next chapter. Really looking forward to it.

Thanks hun! And yes, I would call it allies right now, too. There's a lot of hypocrisy going on for sure! It's easy to point the finger at others than it is at yourself. But hey, Bella's got a backbone now. She might point that out. ;)

I'm kinda torn between believing that the Cullens only wanted to protect her and to honor her changed opinion in not turning her but then why was Edward so upset about Bella deciding at last that she wanted to live? Or was he upset about Bella leaving him ( ... )

Thanks for the review! I do tend to think Edward was made into too much of a saint (bleh) in the books, so I'm humanizing him a tad. He may say he wants Bella to live, but he's also the only one with a human wife who doesn't seem to want to change anymore. That's a bit of a blow to the ego. ;) More will come out on that, though!

And as far as Jake... well, he's conflicted and had a lot thrown at him at once. He's grown up as well, but everyone is struggling to do the right thing. No, it's not fair to Lila... but him bringing her home can help in some ways and there could be other reasons as opposed to just bringing her home solely to introduce her as his girlfriend. :) But yeah, I'm kind of excited to explore the Leah angle... she could be of help, too!

And God, I hope so. My computer is working pretty well now, thanks to my brother. Now I just need to get caught up on my OF and I'll be good to go! Thanks for reading. :)

I think the Cullen's did what they had to do, it was her choices that led her here. She was so focused on becoming a vampire so she could be with Edward, she didn't look at the bigger picture. These are the consequences. Also I noticed that you said she had tried to get in contact with Jacob, it kinda felt like some how you were trying to place some blame on him, because she tried and he didn't answer. But really it's all down to her and the choices she made.

Great chapter.

Thank you! And no, not really putting the blame on Jake.. no worries. :) She did try, but it was a last ditch effort knowing he might or might not get him in time. She definitely made crappy choices and knows it! :)
