Glad to see she still has the truck, AND it made it all the way from Alaska! In the last chapter of SH, I wrote that Bella's truck wouldn't start when she tried to go to La Push. I started to read BD again (I know, I know, it's purely as research for my next fic, and it's killing me!), and realized she didn't HAVE the truck anymore. It died. :( She had the Guardian Eddie bought her, so I had to go back and change my chapter before I posted. RME

Thanks Wills! <3 Don't you hate when that happens?? haha You write something and then realize you have to go back to the book. ;)

Anyway, yeah, I really wanted the truck to last.. and I could see her being obstinate about keeping it in Alaska even if she didn't use it much.

And yeah, lots of stuff happening! There is a little more to the deterioration of their relationship, but you're right, a lot of it is just growing up. And I couldn't help but add that bit with Rose. She was so against it, so I could see in the end she feels conflicted with anger at her brother hurt but glad Bella came to her senses.

Jake will be back! And yeah, poor Charlie. More to come on how those two have been. And the reasoning for what happened w/ the Cullen's and the whole situation. Oh, and I'm giving myself leeway on the chapters, but that's a big NO for over 20. LOL Thanks for the review, bb. :)

As always, your writing is flawless. Bella and Charlie's reunion choked me up. I'm not always that fond of Bella, but I love Charlie like no other. I'm dying to know what's going on between Bella and the Cullens. I've been watching a lot of Psych lately though so I'm very certain that I can solve mysteries now too. LOL.

Can't wait for the next chapter, BB.

Thanks, bb! :) And I'm with you; I love Charlie, and I love writing Charlie/Bella *almost* as much as I love writing J/B. ;) And things will be revealed through flashbacks through the chapters about what's going on! :)

Ugh! Totally cried a little and its only the first chapter in! Poor Charlie. Thank god she didn't give him a heart attack. I love where this is going so far, but I am dying to know what on earth has the Cullens acting like that. Can't wait to see Jake either :)

Hey, can I take this moment to say that I'm glad it's not all Bella's fault in here? I mean, yes, she left and yes, she chose to abandon those she loved, but thank fucking everything there's a reason behind the latter. As to E/B's relationship failure... Well, I'm putting my money on because the relationship was unhealthy, based on teenage obsession with angst and revolved around a sparkly douchebag being worshipped, it could only end up in pure failure.

We were just talking about that, too. And as far as fault, it's totally not just one-sided! And there are definitely reasons behind the absence which will begin to come out through flashbacks.
