You've never seen snow before? Well, that is common in some countries, but...

Many people find it beautiful to watch, but... w-well, when it's coming down as hard as it is now, it becomes a bit bothersome, doesn't it...

Only in pictures and things. I was born and grew up on a ship en route to a new world.

Really? How so?

It is a little tricky to walk in, it gets everywhere then melts.

A ship to a new world... ( Frowns. ) I've never heard of anything like that. What was it like?

Well, if I had to guess, I'd say people find it beautiful because of its color. Fresh snow is still white... kind of like it is now, you see? It's still pure.

... ( Awkward laugh. ) w-well, that's my guess, anyway.

Mn, ours was destroyed by the humans. They polluted it and squandered their gifts. The world was slowly dying so they built ships and left to find a better settlement.

Living in a ship is okay, the view of space gets monotonous and it can be real boring at times.

What's so great about white?

Destroyed? Why, that's awful! You can't return at all?

... ah, well, in some cultures, white is a symbol of purity. ( Another awkward laugh. ) Ironically, in others it is a symbol of death. I doubt you'd get the same answer from everyone, if you asked around!
