Location: It starts in the park, but feel free to wander anywhere in the city afterward.

Warnings: Be warned: there’s no telling who’ll pop up or what’ll happen!

Summary: Teddie and Ran are throwing a picnic for everyone on the train to relieve some restlessness...

[ Day 1 - Day of the Picnic ]

Of course, Teddie wasn't going to miss out at his own picnic. He already had a plate stuffed full of anything he could get his hands on and a burger half-eaten hanging from his mouth. Sitting down next to someone (he didn't quite pay attention to who), he popped open a soda and started munching away.

Making her way across the park, Ran wore a smile. Teddie had done an excellent job with this picnic. It seemed like everyone else was having fun, even if there were a few unfamiliar faces amongst the crowd. Though she shrugged at that. "Teddie!" She called out to her roommate.

Turning around, Teddie didn't even bother to swallow his huge mouthful of food as he waved and called out to her. "Eeey, 'An-han!"

Putting an arm around his shoulder, she gave him a friendly ruffling of the hair. "This is excellent. How did you do this?"

He finally swallowed and took a drink, beaming at the compliment. "Oh, I pulled a few strings, asked a few favors, hit on a few girls. You know, the usual. Of course, our fair conductor was all for this!"

She sighed at his 'hit on a few girls' comment. "I'm surprised she was so eager to do this. She's been pretty mysterious about her motivations lately. But, eh. At least everyone's not just cooped up on the train."

"I'm pretty sure she felt bad after leaving us stranded here like bears forgotten by the circus." He took another bite, almost choking this time on bits of the meat.

"Tell me about it." Ran felt rather bitter about having to stay in this town for so long. "Hey, so, did you cook everything here or what?"

Of course he didn't, but Teddie wasn't going to let that fact slip out so easily. "What would you do if I said I did?"

Pushing him to the side, she stared irritably at him. "Nothing perverted."

He was glad that his plate of food was on the ground. After all, that was a rather... large tower of rations that rested on the plate, and Teddie didn't want that tumbling from that push.

"Hey! Didn't your parents ever tell you to not be mean to people? What would you have done if I rolled over?"

Smirking a bit, she replied, "I might've laughed. Besides, I'm sure you wouldn't stay mad at me. Who else would you constantly flirt with?"

"Hmph! I'm sure a fine, strapping young ursan like myself can find plenty of people to flirt with. You doubt my skills, madam!" Teddie was, of course, just playing with her, but he still pretended to get upset, even going so far as to comically puffing out his chest.

At his puffed chest, she poked at it with her finger to deflate it. "You really should tone it down, Teddie."

All of the 'deflated' air rushed to Teddies cheeks, where he kept them puffed out before getting rid of it. "Well, you just make it so easy, Ran-chan! I can't help it if I get overexcited!"
