Upon hearing the announcement, Teddie did the only logical (logical to him, at least): he ran to the door and struggled to open it, spectacularly failing.

"It won't open! RAN-CHAN! WE'RE TRAPPED!"

Sighing, annoyed, she rubbed her eyes as he had just woken her up.

"What are you going on about?"

"The door is stuck! Look, I can't get out!" Teddie continued to pull, demonstrating his failure.

Pulling the pillow over her head, she tried to drown him out.

"Go to sleep for the next day or two and then see if it's still stuck. If so, then panic."

"But we're stuck! Aren't you worrie-" Teddie paused, thinking about what she said.

"Is that an... invitation?" He winked, a stupid smile plastered on his face.

Removing the pillow, she glared right at him.

"What do you mean?" Ran asked.

Her glare pierced straight to him, and he sure felt the full impact of it. Nevertheless, thought a chance from heaven had arrived, so he pressed further.

"Well... by 'sleep for a few days,' surely you meant together?" He flipped his hair as he said this, sparkles once again flying everywhere.

Sitting up, she let her face soften a tad. "Teddie," She paused for a moment to think of how to word her next question. "Do you know the implications of what you're saying? Do you understand what 'sleeping together' actually means?"

Teddie thought about it. He had seen a few movies where the characters "slept together," but he never really learned what it was. "Isn't it where we stay in the same bed and snuggle or something? It's... similar to scoring, right?"

"Something like that." Her brow furrowed, thinking a little. "Snuggling and having sex are different things, though."

"Sex? What's that?" Teddie had never heard of that before, but it sounded cool!

So, she was going to have to explain the birds and the bees to her roommate? This was going to make for an excellent story to tell Kanji once they were out of here.

"When two people are attracted to each other, they get urges." Ran began. "It's instinctual, so people usually have an idea of how to start things off. Passionate kissing is probably what initiates the mood..."

"Urges, huh...?" As she described it, the smile once again crossed Teddie's face. "So, Ran-chan... Would you like to give me some hands-on instruction?"

Placing her hand against her cheek, she stared at him. "If I do, will you behave for the rest of the day?"

Teddie's jaw dropped. No one had ever agreed to let him do something like that! He silently nodded, left somewhat speechless but incredibly happy.
