In light of recent events, I have been removed from the police force indefinitely.

I thank all those involved for the opportunity, and I apologize for my grievous errors.

Personally, my grandfather has advised me to return to Japan, but I have yet to make any plans.

If my Grampa wants to speak with me, it would be unkind of me to ignore his request. He's been a investigator much longer than I have, so his advice would be invaluable, although I'm sure he's never done something quite like this.

You mean.. school? The curriculum is not particularly challenging..

But uh.... look, when I'm feeling embarrassed I know the last place I wanna be is somewhere people know me and know what I've done. So, I don't know. Being back in Japan, where nobody's talking about that kind of thing and you can lie low might be.... tempting, I guess?

You're just... seriously, the craziest person I know - and considering the people I hang out with on a regular basis, that's really saying something. You're single-minded and determined to the point of hard-headedness, and even though you're a girl you think you're some kind of maverick!? Honestly, half the time I can't figure out if you've got a death wish or you really just know no fear. Damn it, you set yourself up as bait for some attempted serial killer, when all you had to go on was a hunch!

I've never seen you run and hide from anything, before. So like.... just don't get discouraged.
