Well, now... there's a familiar sight.

Certainly, it has been some time, but I won't dwell on it. With this, I breathe life back into my LJ, and so arises the phoenix. Speaking of phoenix, I mention one in a poem, and what would be my first-next entry without a poem?

Infinite

I set the sun to motion, I set the phoenix aflame.
I shattered the Earth to make the mountains;
I gave God His name.

I spread my arms and made the sky;
Ever present, ever long,
Unending, Ancient I.

I sang a song to make fall the rain,
Bade the stars “Alight!”
And alight they did not wane.

I cast wide the oceans, sent afar the raging winds.
Unending, Ancient I,
Know a song that never ends

I am Infinite.

I recently commented on one of Jordan's posts, and he welcomed me back and asked me if I knew the rules. Nay, I say. I know no rules, know no bounds for I am boundless. And awesome.

A part of me hopes one of the rules is no poetry, because that would already make me a rebel. Or a "reble" which you might get if you're clever.

And awesome.
