There are so many berries out in the forest lately! I really love it when it starts feeling like summertime is close.

[Coraline appears to be heavily...flour-dusted, and is kneeling up precariously on a stool in the kitchen, rolling out a big sheet of pastry dough and cookie-cuttering rounds into small muffin cups.

[The Other Father is a usual occupant of the kitchen and now isn't that different! He walks in and leans on the frame of the doorway, that usual smile on his face as his head tilts to the side.]

It's about next month, and about father's day.

See....I have a real father, and I'd feel bad celebrating with my Other Father on real father's day, so...

So can we have an Other Father's day, around the same time, but not on the same day? So I can be a good daughter to both of them?

Different berries?

Blueberries are blue. Round.

Blackberries are.... well, like bigger, dark, shiner raspberries, with little clusters of seeds.
