I just watched two episodes of the Wonder Years and I'm so happy now. Watching that show always leaves me in such a great mood. It is definitely the best show ever. By far. And it's on every weekday from 10-11pm. I'm just waiting for the episode where Kevin plays in the band, The Electric Shoes. That's officially going to be the name of my next song.
I drove up to Santa Cruz this weekend to spend the weekend with Rose. The drive doesn't feel that long anymore. As long as I have my ipod, I can deal with it. It's about 110 songs each way. We spent the weekend visiting the UCSC arboretum, where we saw a deer with antlers, quails, bunnies, hummingbirds, and lizards running around. We had dinner on the pier and watched sea lions swimming around and lying lazily under the pier. We walked through the boardwalk and it was wonderful just seeing how happy everyone was. We spent an evening watching "American Hardcore" out on the porch and later that night, watching "Hellraiser 3" which wasn't nearly as scary as Rose had remembered. It actually wasn't scary at all, but instead very funny. We lied around playing guitar and singing songs while her housemates played a violent video game. And cuddling made getting out of bed nearly impossible. I miss you Rose.
