(no subject)
So...
I was in Minneapolis this last weekend.
Went to Valleyfair (fun).
Went to Mall of America (good, could have been better).
Went to Canterbury Park for horse races (boring).
The weekend all in all was good...
But...
I think it's really opened my eyes in terms of who I truly value as friends...and WHAT I value in the friendships I have.
A lot of the weekend involved me feeling like a 7th wheel..completely out of the loop, etc. Also...I just felt really disrespected a lot of the time. Feeling invisible is not a fun feeling...go figure, hey?
Basically...I felt left out, invisible...etc.
But, I can't leave this on a bad note. Although there were some shitty times...the trip as a whole was good. We had beautiful weather...
We got to experience (relatively) new things...
And most importantly, I got to get away and not worry about work...my apartment and what the hell I'm doing with it...etc. This will have been the only vacation I'm going to have in a while.
