Guess who has a D&D tutorial on Friday...that's right me! I'm excited, the site the dude at work told me about came through and a guy recommended that I do a tutorial with him because I wouldn't be able to regularly game due to my work schedule (working till 6am two nights this week...woooo). I am so nervous and hyped up I didn't get much sleep last night. I've been wanting to give this a go for a long time but apparently all my friends are too damn fucking cool. How does drinking (I hope there is drinking) with a group of people pretending to be fantastical creatures and arguing about who can beat up who in particular situations all night not sound like fun? No, instead hockey is fun. I can never sit down and solely watch sports because it isn't engaging enough. Also you can only play pool with the same people so many times, and it especially sucks when you are the worst at it.
I don't know how much of my character I get to pick, but I hope I get to be a giant or something with a lot of brute strength because my strategy is pretty much: if I'm going to die, I'm going to bring hell on earth for you guys before I go and take as much as you with me (the only game I've ever beat on the highest difficulty: God of War). Drows look pretty cool too. There is so much I don't know.
So, yeah, this is happening. Me building my T3-M4 or HK-47 can't be far away.
EDIT TO ADD: This has totally been me these past few days:
