I've been really stressed lately, mostly due to school stuff and BCIT expecting me to pay the tuition 60 days in advanced. But I don't want to go into that because it is really boring to live so I can only imagine it would be painfully boring to read.
What I did want to post about is a little something that I found awesome. Since most of the people I work with are still in High School and mainly talk about High School, I spend most of my breaks getting some reading done, and today I went to pick out a new book. I ended up getting Monster by A. Lee Martinez, whose work I've never read before. The summary made it sound like a really fun read about an man who runs a pest control agency to control unwanted monsters. The guy's name also happens to be Monster. Anyways, the little something awesome is this dedication on the first page
to Henchman 24. You will be missed
Even though I haven't read the story yet, I already consider my money well spent.
I also bought a CD of classical music without reading the back to find it has the William Tell Overture on it. That song costed me over $50 worth of oboe reeds to learn how to play so now I cringe whenever I hear it. It also makes me miss my oboe.
