Today has been a good day after a disappointing Halloween yesterday. I was going to go to Rocky Horror with my friend but she bailed on me because her boyfriend planned a 'romantic evening' for her; who plans a romantic evening on halloween??
I didn't want to go alone so I may or may not have drank a screwdriver or two and decided to do a one person production of the Rocky Horror show to the soundtrack from the Original London Cast. My costume for this included blue eyeshadow, my batwoman apron, my lab coat, PJ Pants, heart shaped sunglasses, three scarves, and my black stompin' boots. Then I grabbed my broom, threw a scarf over the lamp, and danced and sang to my heart's content. When I finished I went off to bed.
Then today I woke up, made vegan sushi that is super yum, ate black licorice, and decided to go look for a replacement sewing machine. I love the Sewing Centre in Prince George since they always give me a student discount, but today I wanted to hug and dance the time warp with them because they put a $500 sewing machine on hold for me for the sale price of a sale that ended yesterday of $219.95. I have $100 saved up and I should be getting a decent paycheck next week so I hope to have it next Friday. My plan is to open up an etsy shop so I'm justifying the purchase by saying it is an investment.
So yep, today was good, and not just because it is World Vegan Day. For the rest of it I'm going to eat more sushi, try to find Iron Man 2 on tudou, and do the dishes. My life is so exciting that Russell Brand is jealous.
