I was linked to this blog entry from rex-dart's lj entry here. I give christians a really hard time, but this put the cherry on what turned out to be an unexpectedly lovely day today. Being a closeted lesbian with a homophobic father, who is encouraged by his homophobic girlfriend because her church taught her to treat lgbt people that way, I tend to blame the church greatly for my fear of never being accepted by my father and my fear he will no longer help me both financially and emotionally get through my ten years of University. But this entry brought tears to my eyes, because when people do things like this it renews my hope for not only my own future, but also our future as a society. Thank you to all the beautiful people of this world.
