That's true. Especially after everything, it'll be good for everyone's mood.

[Instead of reading Twilight you could have played Fate/Stay in the Kitchen, Souji. It would have boosted your Understanding and Diligence because holy shit exposition and infodumps... And then you would understand.
THAT IS.

No don't bring up the seafood metaphors YOU COULD HAVE PLAYED THE REALTA NUA VERSION. You WOULD enjoy the fooding bits, though. God knows there's enough cooking scenes in that thing.]

That's good to hear, but can you please be careful, if he changes himself back to an adult again? ...I haven't really met Gilgamesh as a child, but if you really say so, I'll believe you that he's a good boy.

[ Man Twilight was so bad it nearly physically harmed him to read it. It was one of those books he deeply regretted touching. And Souji's a bit of a derp with computers, so asking him to sit through a V/N is something that you could only ask him to do if you were like a rank six social link. ]

Adult Gilgamesh can't be that bad, can he?

...

He's a fun kid. He's shown me all sorts of things with his Gate of Babylon too.

[You could have spent that time reading something better, ANYTHING EVEN... Oh well blame the 4th wall crackin' programmers. So maaaybe in a meme or something. Alternatively watch the last 4 episodes of the anime; Gil's portrayal was PRETTY ACCURATE...]

...[Sounds like she's holding back a sigh or something? But it's kinda hard to tell...] He's a child now, right? He wasn't before. I wonder what prompted him to make that change, but if he did it willingly, then I do sincerely hope that he stays that way. Things are better as they are now.

[Chuckling a bit. Ciel's seen it a few times too, personally experienced it once: a sword grazed her near the ribs, and it could have been fatal if she wasn't careful. The other times were against Archer also under hostile circumstances; no of course there's no need to mention any of that right now!] Is that so? Like what, if you don't mind me asking?

He is a child now, yes.

[ Souji has a hard time wrapping it around his noodle that Adult Gilgamesh = dick. The kid version is a little feisty, if anything, but kids cannot be evil! Inherently, at least. Maybe Gilgamesh as a kid hung around the wrong crowd. Souji will see to it that this time Gilgamesh hangs around positive influences!...

...

Like Lancer.

A few heroic swords, a spear, and a lot of golden fishing rods. He says he has a lot more in his portal. Have you seen some of his weapons?

Aha, then maybe I'll look for him at the pool party and say hi. [She says it lightly without an ounce of ill intent.

Lancer is whipped and a big derp. It's really not so bad... :|a]

I... have, but not under leisurely circumstances. [...Moving on, she chuckles a bit as she picks on the more casual part of his statement.] Fishing rods? Did you go fish together, at some point? I know there's a small lake in town, but are there actually anything in there?

That's where Gilgamesh showed me his Gates of Babylon. He's very skilled at fishing. Or lucky.

[ Can't decide which of the two it is! ]

Do you fish?

I've heard stories that his luck is very good, but going by the legends, maybe there's some skill involved too.

Haha, I'm afraid not. There was never really the opportunity to, so I never tried. Seafood is quite good, though! But cleaning a fish can get messy if you're not careful. [--wait there's a leap in logic somewhere here...] Have you, Seta-kun?

[ Souji sounds like he's beaming. ]

Yep.

I fished often at home. I'm not very good, but fishing is about diligence and patience. Even novices can fish.

That's true, it could be a good way to pass the time! What did you manage to catch, here and back home, if you don't mind me asking? Hm... Are you the type to make anything with what you've caught, or would you let them go after? [No option C. exchange it for equipment DOESN'T COUNT...]

I've caught some very large fish back home. Almost on a local legendary status. Here in Mayfield, I've yet to catch any fish. I've only recently discovered the lake next to the park. Typically I cook the fish.

My, that sounds amazing. Maybe the town will decide to give you back the largest fish that you've ever caught someday, haha. And that's definitely a good choice; I wonder if what's available in the lake here can be used for curry... [sort of trails off... >_>a]

[ Pinged for fishing, pinged again for cooking. ]

Oh, you cook Ciel? Do you like curry?

Yes, I used to cook for the household here before Matou-san arrived. I wouldn't think of myself as a really good cook, but I do enjoy it, and it's no problem!

[...

this is not the tone of a kid at a candy store NOPE I mean it's just two words how can you even possible tell...] I do, aha. [and LET'S LEAVE IT AT THAT

but you can more or less bribe her to anything now that you know. >_>]

[ Souji found it a bit weird that there was such a pause about his question of curry. ]

I haven't made any yet here since arriving, but when I do, I'll be sure to invite you.

It's fine, so please don't trouble yourself over it. The powder and spices available in this town are just of poor quality, but I'm already blessed with an excellent cook in our household!... [okok...]

I may have a solution to the poor selection of spice, but I'd have to ask first.

... That's good to hear. Mayfield is in short supply of them, it seems.
