I see, but this is a nice coincidence. [Nodding, she chips back cheerfully.] The Church is away from where the stores and diners are, so it's uncommon to have visits from an actual person. ...Aha, unless they're wounded, I suppose, but people do also come here because it's a quiet place to think. Do you take this route often?

Not really.

[By himself anyway. The town still made everyone attend church each Sunday. During his earlier days in Mayfield, attending the sessions had at first interested Minato due to his acquired knowledge of the Judio-Christian mythos from his Personas, but he would often end up falling asleep. The sermons were more dull than the principle of Gekkoukan's speeches, most of them focusing on the damnation of humanity over the good parts of the scriptures he liked. The switching among denominations didn't help matters, other than teaching Minato just how many denominations Christianity had.]

Was it on whim, then? [Yeah it's got some interesting stories! Sad enough Ciel found herself having taken a bigger interest in the Bible BEFORE she got her life flipped upside down, rather than after she joined the Agency. Well, it's like she told everyone: she's not a preacher and would be awful at it.

As far as religion is concerned, anyway. She doesn't claim to be the best Catholic, either. :V]

[Minato himself was an agnostic of sorts before getting mixed up in the Dark Hour and Shadow business. He prayed at shrines back home (for social links :V), but it didn't matter to him if gods existed or not. Of course, now he summons demons, gods, angels, and other supernatural denizens to help him fight monsters, but those are more manifestations of his soul than the real deal. So he knows souls exist, but he's yet to meet a true god face-to-face.

At this point in canon, anyway. :|a]

Yeah. Most of where I go is a whim.
