[Kresnik was droned, though it doesn't seem to be permanent, based on her previous experience with her former set of assigned parents. It irritates her either way, so Marivel's out in the park, and-]

Hm? Oh, good evening, Marivel. ...Aha, I guess that it would be a bit unusual, but I won't be here for long. Are you out for a walk?

People generally don't sit on top of lampposts when they're eating, at the least. Yes, that would be correct, but just a short walk.

I didn't expect anyone to come by, with all that's happened of late, but I'm not bothering anyone, so it should be fine. [She'll just smile innocently there. =3=]

If your mood is good enough to be out, though, then I'll definitely take it as a good thing. ...Christmas hasn't been terrible for you, I would hope?

... Well, I suppose you have a point, there. I don't think a whole lot of people would be wandering by the park after sunset, either.

Ah-- it's well enough, anyway. The town didn't do anything to me, but then, I never wrote a letter. Kresnik is droned, but it seems to be temporary. Either way, it's is why I'm out at the moment; I've never really been too fond of living with drone parents.

They wouldn't, especially of late. The atmosphere is particulatly heavy these days. [Saying that, she'll close her container, leaver her spoon in there, and easily hop off from the post. If she's going to chat with Marivel for a bit, might as well do it from ground level.]

You're lucky. From what I've heard, many corpses and butchered body parts were found in gift boxes: this Santa has a very twisted sense of humor. I've abstained from writing, but many that I'm acquainted with haven't. [A small sigh.] Cleaning up the messes were draining. [not to mention dying.]

...My apologies, I didn't mean to complain. It sounds like your days are passing by fine, though, and in times like these, I'll take solace in that too. Please be careful while you're out, however; as I've said, the town is currently tenser than of norm.

This town never really seems to want to let up lately, I think. ... Ah, yes, I imagine they would be. I don't know if anyone I'm acquainted with wrote a letter or not. [Well, she's unaware of what happened to Virginia, anyway]

It's alright. And I will. I received some 'normal' gifts, at the least, though obviously not from the town itself. [The hair ribbon from Kresnik, at the least. And maybe Ciel's gift if that was delivered sometime before all the madness that started on Christmas.]

The last time was late October... It has been two months, hasn't it. You're lucky, Marivel.

[No, she held that off. She'll be doing them belated.]

...Aha, I apologize for that. I thought about making my gift deliveries personally on the 24th, but suspecting that something bad may happen the day after, I held it off, and now we're several days past Christmas. You'll accept something from me even if it's a bit late, I would hope?

Ah, that long? I suppose I lose track of time, even in this world.

Hm? Oh, of course. I don't mind if it's late or not; I honestly didn't particularly expect gifts to begin with.

Then I'll come by a bit later, unless you don't mind me going to fetch it right now? It shouldn't take longer than a few minutes, I promise.

I don't mind waiting here if you wish to go and retrieve it now.

Thank you, Marivel. [Turning around and

whoosh, blur to that tree, then to that roof, and before you can blink a few times, she's already out of sight.

She'll be back in a few minutes with a gift bag, and land onto the ground some distance away from Marivel before walking the rest of the way like a normal person.]

It's nothing impressive, but I did have quite a bit of free time, during the weeks before. [She'll hand the holiday-themed giftbag to her; inside is a blue hand sewn beret; it's plain, but it should be warm, comfortable, and easy to put on. That, and a dozen shortbread cookies in plastic wrappings, decorated with colorful icing. She had a field baking day with her 'daughter' a few days back, and this is the result. (b'_')b] Merry belated Christmas, Marivel.

[Oh Ciel, you're so strange. Marivel already concluded as much a while back, though. She'll wait around while Ciel goes to retrieve the gift, and is terribly unsurprised at how fast that was. She's grateful for the gift(s), though.]

It's alright, thank you regardless, Ciel. [She'll go ahead and put the beret on now.]

You're welcome. [She smiles back, genuinely glad. It's truly good to learn that someone's Christmas has been a good one - or at least, passable.]

...Ah, that does remind me of something else. You will be glad to know that Merem has been droned, too. I don't know whether or not it's permanent, but that's certainly a possibility, too.

Is that so? At least I don't have to put up with his taunting anymore. Still, it's a little odd to think about.

[She laughs cheerfully.]

Yes, he's now an average middle school student, and a young boy who truly acts like one. It is rather strange of a sight, but he has still become more manageable than before.
