Hey some people did a double-take before and others failed to make the connection. She'll play it cool unless they really make it obvious that they've made the association. :V;

Either way this is fine. She's at the church pretty often, so call or not, she tends to be there on most afternoons.]

Good afternoon. May I help you, mister? [In strong contrast to their first meeting, she was professional, cool, and even aloof; it's almost like a completely different person, though if she really was gunning for a dual identity, she certainly did not bother altering her physical appearances.

...Well, setting aside the fact that she wasn't wearing her glasses, and nun robes did look quite different from civilian wear.]

[He looks at her when she addresses him]

Nothing specific. [Kresnik recognizes her, though he admits that she's acting a lot different from the first time they met]

[A faint nod. This isn't even a job that pays, but if she's here, she'll play out the part.]

Is this your first time at the local church?

[For now, he's probably just going to assume that she was involuntarily sent here to work]

No, I've been at this location before to write notes down.

[nope. But assuming is totally okay. '3']

Maybe it was during the day; I am here on most afternoons. You would come here for the peace and quiet, I would presume? [She's steadily starting to set aside the stern imagery, though. After all, it's happened quite a few times where she would have people visit just because this was a nice place to sit down and think. In that case, some small talk wouldn't hurt.]

Not precisely... I come to this church to compare it to a well-known one in Filgaia.

I see. Mayfield is a generic town in the America of 1950ies, so this church is rather simple. The impressive churches and basilicas would be found in Europe, another continent. If it's well-known, then odds are that the church that you're familiar with would be bigger and more grandiose than this one.

[He notes the information down]

The church in Filgaia is larger and the general atmosphere is completely different from this one.

[That's probably not going to be really helpful. 8|;; But whatever floats your boat.

She nods.]

May I ask what it's like?

It's in a city named Guara Bobelo.

The church was originally dedicated to Saint Calucion, but after the war, it developed into a battle arena with spectators watching people battle monsters for money and fame.

That would sound vaguely Italian to my knowledge, but given that we are from different worlds entirely, these names are foreign to me.

...[A faint frown.] The church has been turned into a Colosseum? That's rather unusual. What would be the history of Saint Calucion, if I may ask?

Yes, most people seem to prefer it as a Colosseum.

She was the first Paladienne and lived over 1000 years ago. Apparently, she brought miracles to every land she visited and cured the ill with her staff. However, she died when she used her own body to seal up a monster in a church known as Etemenanki.

Saints in my world are attributed that title for similar reasons. ...Despite the wars and crusades, a religious building should still be one that invokes peace and calm, for both body and soul. Was it really acceptable, to convert a church to a battleground? May I ask about the reason that led up to such a decision, if you're aware?

During the war, they started offering free meals to refugees that come to the church. However, as conditions worsened due to the war, more homeless people started to arrive from all over. Buildings were created in Guara Bobelo to accommodate them, but everything ended up being a mess in the end.

So it's the area in general? Did the church fall into a state of disrepair?
