Well, I just wrote a really long entry, and somehow lost it.
the rundown:
shit's really expensive here
Natty Ice 6 pack: 8.99
22 of Heineken: 3 bucks
drink at bar: 5.50 (beer) 6.50 (booze)
cigarettes: 7+ bucks
the cops suck, but not as much as Eugene/Portland cops
I'm bored, lonely, and miss home
The metropolitan museum of art is absolutely the coolest thing ever!
1000 people have been arrested since thursday, 6 to 800 today.
People that bitch about protestors getting arrested for doing illegal things just don't get it. Civil Disobedience has always been about being willing to go to jail. They annoy me.
Top is still two dollars, thank god.
Livejournal sucks for making me lose my post.
I can't wait to see rabbit and EekEek.
Lots of cool protests tommorrow, including NOW. I get to see Gloria Steinem and that makes me happy!
