The Flat and back.

In the beginning there was the waterfront. Then there was a loud and disturbing sound as I turned the corner. two to three days later I leave the driveway and start noticing a certain sluggish handling, I park the car on Douglas near shady. It's the evening, it's going to be dark soon, I can deal with the flat later.
This morning I changed the tire. There was a lot of standing and bouncing on the tire iron. Which makes one in the sun and heat sweaty and dehydrated. Feeling some heat strokey symptoms I took a break, drank some water, had a popcicle- seemed like a good way of getting my temperature down, and spent some time watching cooking shows. Jacques and Julia arguing between the proper french way and the fusion way of doing things- Julia is proper french. Finished tightening bolts- I guess it's hard to tell if I finished or just got tired and quit.
In any case I went back home and seeing that making it in might be difficult given I don't know how long anything actually takes or if there would be a huge line or something I got someone to cover my shift. Drove it down to the goodyear by home depot. They took care of everything for less than my dad guessed- which is good. There were mysterious fees but whatever the bill wasn't excessive and there was air conditioning to wait in an cnn for the adhd to watch.
Things I need: that damn iranian sandwich- seriously considering going at 11pm to get the sandwich I think it changes to something else at the end of july. Must have the sandwich. bzzzt. bzzzt.
