alright!! let's see... what's new in my life?
Um.
I noticed that the older I got, the more experienced of a songwriter I became. In that sense, it takes me much longer to write songs than before. But I'm excited to say, I finished one song about two weeks ago and I'm almost done with my current (which I've been actually working on for a few months now). Yes, insane. But this one ("Wrath on the Styx") is worth it. The Brownsville Herald article even mentioned something about me writing my own take on Dante... which isn't entirely accurate, but the reference is there.
My band and I just recorded about half an album's worth of songs... although nothing fancy... only really for booking shows. The takes were a bit half-assed on my vocal part... because it's just so hard to be relaxed in such a humid, tiny room! They must be redone.
