I think the antidepressants may be working. . .
. . . or the sleeping pills. Or maybe it's the fact that my boss quit. In any case, I didn't unplug every phone in the house so no one from work could call. I didn't even notice that my Saturday had not been interrupted until well after any frantic call would have come.
This is a major breakthrough for me.

edna_m 's job has been made full-time and permanent (with excellent benefits, paid vacation, and a pension) and I am not worried about how he is going to handle the change in his shift.
