I thought I'd give this a shot since I've only come across one person on livejournal who is in Japan because of the military. Are there any other military wives here who are in their mid-20s

I've been to the Yokosuka base! I have a friend who is stationed there for the navy (though he won't be back there until September, I think). It's a really large, really nice base

I thought the only difference was where they take place - hurricanes in the Atlantic, typhoons in the Pacific

I'm really glad that we will be living on base, we have been told about how its built so that you feel like youre at home (in the states).
