Intro
Hi all - just an introduction before I start reading (but after I read the community info!). I'm here at the suggestion of ariadnelives who said she has some LJ friends here. When I looked at the community info I wanted to pop in and join. I'm an American who just moved to Scotland, having gained entry on a spouse visa. It's been nerve-wracking and exciting!
It's nice to know this sort of community exists - the 'resource' communities have been great and I know I'll continue to post/read/help when I can in those, but I like the different sort of direction this community seems to have. Especially because I'm discovering so many differences, which I find fun and interesting (and sometimes just confusing).
So I just simply wanted to say hello and that I look forward to reading and commenting/posting when I have something relevant to contribute!
