Model Recommendations for Multi-region / multi-mode DVD player?

Doesn't have to be HD compatible as relatively few DVDs I would send are HD, but I want to buy a relatively inexpensive plug and play (no fiddly setup) DVD player to send my relatives in the USA. There is a DVD boxset that is only available in PAL and region 2, and I'd like them to be able to watch it. They're not a techy bunch, which is why plug and play. I don't want to spend a lot on it, I'm hoping for less than $150 if at all possible. I wish to buy this online from somewhere inside the USA to send to relatives who also live inside the USA.

Does anyone have any recommendations for me? <-- by this I mean models of DVD player. I am already aware of the existence of Amazon.com and Ebay. :)
