Hi folks,
I'm an expat, moved from the UK to Brazil.
For those who move to a life of greater poverty (but arguably something more fulfilling) do you worry about what you've left behind from a financial perspective?
I often worry about not being a fully paid up member of the "mortgage gang" in the UK, in that I've not bought a house and am paying into a mortgage (I'm 33). I also worry about not paying into a UK private pension, should I ever go back.
In some ways I want to stay here, but these fears can get depressing and irritating.
Does anyone else have these fears, and have thoughts about it?
TIA
