it's just strange hearing and reading about this whole thing from so far away.

(my apologies if you have to sign in to read it; it's basically an article about what a few folks around the world think about katrina and the aftermath.)
the only thing i've seen in the chilean news are reports on the few chileans who were there, whether they are alright, etc.
