Last post from Kiev
My friends Shiloh and Angela made a montage of photos taken at the American Club meetings. I met Angela this evening and she gave it to me. That was so sweet! I’m glad I got to see her again.
I got the vet certificate for Romeo this morning, which is also a big relief!
Vlad took me to a fabulous French restaurant called L’Amore for dinner this evening. It was expensive by Ukrainian standards, but a bargain by American French restaurant standards. We had crème brulee for desert that they must have poured a shot of vodka on top of and set it on fire; it burned for a few minutes. It wasn’t the best crème brulee since it was swimming in alcohol, but the trio of fish with a balsamic glaze was amazing!
Tomorrow will be a very long day! I will post when I get back and take time to catch up with all of my friend’s journals as well.
I wish I had the energy to add some photos I managed to get in today, but that will have to wait.
