Jaded

My last final (Spanish) tomorrow. I remember the days back in junior high when I studied hours for finals. I slacked off through the years. Now, I feel like I deserve to be able to coast finals week after my hard work the first three six weeks. I just hate the concept of finals. The fact that it counts for 1/4 of the semester average, as much as six weeks of work. And I also hate the brown-nosing I've seen so much of this past week.

Statistics - My first three six weeks average were 98, 97, 99. Final exam? 92. Yes, it's still an A, but one final brought it down quite a bit. The thing is, I actually studied for this final, relatively speaking. It's just that the lazy teacher decided to take 40 questions from the 160 question review packet, and copy and paste it onto the exam. And not add anything else. Or even bother to change the wrong answer choices. So basically, those who memorized the answers to the review packet scored extremely well.

Pre Calculus - First three six weeks were 97, 99, 100. Final exam is not graded yet, but I already know I got one problem wrong. Out of 40. That's only the one I know about so far.

Computer Science - 94 on exam. Mediocre. I'm not going to complain. I managed to pull a 100 on third six weeks though! All the 125 questions were exact copies of previous test. Hm, well at least she had the decency to pull questions from separate tests. Considering that I studied about 10 minutes for this final, I'm okay with it.

Chemistry - Ran out of time! But I finished it. Just didn't get to check it. Is Lutetium Lu or Lt? Stoichiometry was about the only thing I remembered.

English - exempted. 92 for semester. Evil teacher hates me anyway.

World History - exempted. 95 for semester. I had nothing better to exempt.

If I get an 89 for a semester grade, it'll be my own fault. It takes a substantial amount of "bumping" to get than 89 to a 90. Diana reportedly hates the World History teacher because she had an 89 for the semester and the teacher wouldn't bump it. What the heck? Then she goes and says History is interesting, it's just the class that's screwed up. World History is one of my easiest classes (Ignore the grade, I haven't actually read a single word of text in that class.). But the teacher for some reason decided to bump her. Now she's her "favoritist" teacher! *rolls eyes*

Enough ranting from me. Time to complete Spanish review packet. I have Lord of the Rings to look forward to tomorrow! And Saturday. And Sunday. I'm not even a fanatic.
