I really like how you show Castiel's actions as being innocent and well-meaning. Like, when he tells Claire he's not her father - it's very easy to imagine how upset Claire would have been by that simple statement, but for Castiel, it's just a simple statement of the facts, with no intention of hurt (and, in fact, an attempt to be helpful).

He's so simple an honest in everything he does, but the complexities of human society and the difficulties in communicating as a human make it hard to get his real intentions across, without misunderstanding (or in Dean's case, outright distrust).
