well i dont have the job yet, and knowing co-op they're going to screw me out of it anyhow so whatever :(
i remember last year someone i knew got ranked #1 by some company and it turned out to be in error, and he got denied the job....

Reading what you said, I think you made the right choice. A lot of your social life (and, I know, not all of it - I'm not trying to insult you here) does happen over the net, which makes it conveniently portable. The fact that you get more money and more job satisfaction is a pretty big pull.
