workload

My workload for the upcoming week, followed by a difficulty rating:
  • Tuesday: Process Control Assignment (VERY HARD)
  • Wednesday: Thermodynamics Assignment (Easy)
  • Thursday: Oil & Gas Processing Assignment (Hard)
  • Thursday: Process Control Midterm (VERY HARD)
  • Friday: Applied Math (VBA) Assignment (Medium)
  • Friday: Transport Phenomena Assignment (Hard)

the last two got moved to next week, since 1) this coming Friday is University of Ottawa day, so we have no classes and 2) our vba prof changed the date because of all the other shit we have this week.

truth is i've already got the programming portion of it pretty much finished (as of last night/this morning 2amish), it's the writeup thats the killer.

anyway, i'm going on campus tomorrow around noon to meet up with some buddies so we can tackle the process control assignment and pool together our answers for thermodynamics. I get the feeling i'm not going to ace my midterms like i did last year; despite the fact that they're spaced out to 1 or 2 a week (since all my classes are in the same department now), I find that assignments from other classes are getting in the way. Whereas last year, when i had 4 midterms in 2 days, all the assignments stopped for that period.

my stats midterm went okay, or at least I thought it did until i heard the bad news: He will be a hardass marking them because it was an easy midterm. I still fucked up the last question (worth 1/3 the exam) but I thought i'd be able to come out with a 60% ~ 70% or so. But no, apparently getting the process correct isn't good enough; if any numbers are wrong i get no marks. that's just horrid of the man and i'm questioning once more whether i'll pass or not.
