I went home for Thanksgiving this past weekend. I tried to read a couple of chapters in my Process Dynamics & Control textbook but I didn't get very far because the view out the window was just too distracting.
Things I did this weekend:
- worked on Thermodynamics and Applied Math assignments
- Went walking through a couple of forests to hunt grouse with my brother like we do every year. And we came away empted handed, like we do every year. I also lost my aviators in a forest somewhere. :(
- shot at tin cans in my backyard with a pellet gun, something it seems i missed out on in my redneck peterborian childhood
- took some really pretty pictures of the gorgeous autumn trees. I also took shots of my family, for once, and also took no pictures of the cat, for once. [see below!]
- ate pumpkin pie, apple pie, turkey, samosas and soy icecream cones. all in the same night. dayumn.
- hooked up the PS1 and played some demo discs i had laying around, since i was really in the mood for MediEvil. Sadly all my RPGs (ie: all my PS1 games) are in Ottawa so I couldn't play any of those. I also played a bit of Super Mario World with my sister! for the first time in >10 years! weeee
(but really most of my time was spent on assignments :( )
and now on to our main event this evening, ZE PICTUARS!
hunting with my brother
my family!
(mostly grandparents, sister, mom. didnt nab any shots of my dad with this camera ;( )
^--- filling up water at some guy's water spring down the road. ahuk huk huk, hicks much?

I think I finally found a picture to add to my
deviantART portfolio, after roughly 6 months of inactivity:
I dropped some pie on the table while serving it to myself. the turtles were sad.
anyhow, i've got two interviews tomorrow, a midterm [that i'm really worried about] on thursday, 2 more interviews on thursday and another assignment due on ... guess? thursday! I got an interview with Imperial Oil (some of you may know them for their Esso gas stations..) on thursday and i am so, so, SO freaking scared right now. their interviews are
Behavioural and I'm really bad at those types of questions! aghhhhhh
