Sehun was wrong about Jongin. Jongin doesn't need that emotional attachment. He just likes to sleep with people. And that's okay. Maybe it's even better than okay. It means that Jongin just likes a warm body. Sehun has a warm body. Logically, Jongin would want to sleep with him.

Sehun watches Jongin get up and call for Kyungsoo. Hours pass, Sehun thinks, before the door to his room opens and he feels a cool air breeze into the room. He knows it's not Jongin but he feels too embarrassed to even acknowledge whoever entered the room.
Correction: Whoever entered the room and is now sitting on his bed, lightly caressing his hair.
"You're a mess," Luhan says and Sehun inwardly sighs. "You're embarrassing and you probably shouldn't be alive. Your parents would be ashamed of you and I'm seriously considering finding a way to get you out of EXO."
Sehun shifts his head and slowly opens his eyes. He's greeted with Luhan's beaming face.
"Go away", Sehun murmurs in what he thinks may pass as forceful.
Sehun immediately regrets the lack of force in his tone as Luhan places his entire body over Sehun's. Sehun feels warm arms wrap around his shoulders and neck.
They stay like that for a few moments until Luhan lightly asks, "Do you love him?"
Sehun turns in his bed so that he's face to face with Luhan, his entire body shifting under Luhan's tiny frame. He looks into Luhan's eyes and he knows there's no judgment. If anything, Luhan seems genuinely concerned; almost curious.
"I --" Sehun starts, shutting his eyes forcefully to avoid Luhan's questioning gaze as he says, "I think I always have."
Luhan doesn't respond and Sehun opens his eyes slowly; carefully. Luhan's smiling, but it's not playful or mocking. Luhan seems happy and Sehun feels the breath he was holding leave his mouth, his stomach lighter despite the weight of Luhan's entire body on him.
"Well, then, you'll have to find a way to let that moron know," Luhan says and Sehun laughs as Luhan continues, "Because, honestly. Someone needs to get their hands on your dick. "Really, you're going to damage it if you keep all that fastened. It needs to be let out to breathe and indulge in the joy that is life."
Sehun chooses that moment to lift his knee enough for Luhan to squirm slightly, Sehun regaining ability in both his arms long enough to throw Luhan off the bed. Luhan gleefully laughs and traipses out of the room. His face flushed, Sehun smiles to himself and makes a mental note to thank his friend later. And perhaps wear looser underwear.

Sehun logically deduces that the best method to let Jongin know how he feels is to seduce his best friend.
He plans it meticulously. Most of his bandmates will have the afternoon off today - Baekhyun and Kyungsoo had mentioned seeing a movie together and a few others had invited themselves along - but Jongin had wanted to go shopping with Sehun.

Sehun's own mouth is agape, his cheeks searing as Luhan ushers his friends out of the room, Chanyeol's laughter somehow growing louder as the door is closed, leaving only Luhan and a stunned Jongin in the room.
Sehun thinks this is what it must have felt like when Rose wouldn't let Jack onto the wooden plank in Titanic, his entire body frozen as he comes to terms with exactly what happened. He notices Luhan give him one last pithy look before smiling and saying, "Jongin! Can you please leave the room for a moment so that I can put some clothes on Sehun and restore order in the world?" Sehun feels his face drag towards Jongin's and they lock eyes for a moment -- until Luhan closes the door and turns to face Sehun.
"Oh my god," Luhan starts.
"Oh my god," Sehun repeats, his voice cracking as he brings a hand to cover his mouth.
"You were trying to seduce Jongin," Luhan states, his entire face swaying from side to side in disapproval.
"I was trying to seduce -"
"You failed miserably," Luhan cries, his voice breaking in empathy.
"I failed miserably," Sehun repeats, his entire body convulsing with each word as if to punctuate how absolutely pathetic this entire plan was and what a ridiculous notion it was that Jongin could have been attracted to him.
"We need to find you someone to talk to. Like those patients who have recurring nightmares. You're unwell and we will be able to find you some medication, I promise -" Luhan starts as he walks from one side of the room to the other.
Sehun belatedly realises that he is still completely undressed and this is unfortunately the time the door decides to open again. Sehun closes his eyes with anticipation but he knows it's Jongin before he can even hear a foot step into the room.

Sehun feels a laugh come out involuntarily because Jongin's smiling. It's not mocking, it's not deriding; Jongin is amused, and Sehun feels himself slowly regain mobility in his body.
Without a word, Luhan exits the room and closes the door behind them, giving Sehun a little wink as he does so.
