sehun felt guilty because some of their schoolmates saw jongin and he's so sure that the other was already embarassed.
"you're just.." sehun cleared his throat.
"what?"
"too close."
jongin gaped at him and dragged him towards the nearest fire exit door. "am i misunderstanding things here, sehun-ah? i thought we are best friends."
"yeah, we are!" sehun said defensively.
jongin folded his arms in front of his chest and eyed sehun warily. sehun felt a bit cornered and he wanted to go back to class -- in which will start in more than 20 minutes so he really don't have anywhere else to go because he always spend lunch time with jongin.
"why are you suddenly acting like this? are you angry that i rejected her or what?"
"i'm not angry." jongin said softly.
"then?"
before jongin could answer, someone shouted behind them telling that taeyeon's looking again for sehun.
"you didn't even let me finish earlier, i rejected sunbae but i also asked her out because i didn't want her to look down on herself for making the first move." sehun grins and made a v-sign. "i'm cool, right jongin-ah?"
jongin shook his head and reached for sehun's hand and gave it a squeeze.
"yeah, you're better than me. but i'll do much better."

asking for his best friend's advice about dating should be an interesting one but sehun was completely fooled. jongin was anything but enthusiastic whenever sehun is asking him about the do's or don'ts in the first date.
"how come you don't know anything at all? did you even undergo puberty?" jongin said, distaste is clearly in his voice and sehun cringed.
"i'm really useless in dating!" sehun whined and gripped jongin's arms. "so please! pretty please help me! you're my bestest friend and you have knowledge in dating! so what should i do?"
"just be yourself. that's it i guess? you should not pretend to be somebody else just to impress a person because if she likes you, then she should accept who you are."
sehun was silent while staring at jongin.
"why are you looking at me like that?" jongin asked.
"wow. you are really experienced aren't you! hail words of wisdom by kim jongin! the science and math geek!" sehun said while raising both of his hands and lifting his chin up to the skies.
jongin just laughed at his friend's ridiculuousness. then sehun grabbed jongin's hand and asked, "is it okay to hold her hand? i think kiss is too much for a first date? hmm?"
"i think... it depends on the situation."
sehun's eyebrows creased, still holding on to jongin's hands. "what kind of situation?"
jongin then used his other hand to spin sehun around so that they are facing each other. he puts his other hand on sehun's shoulder and caressed it a bit. the look on the younger's eyes are so curious that jongin couldn't help himself but to pinch the other's cheeks.
"why did you did that! i have a date so i need my perfect and flawless face for it thank you very much!"
but jongin didn't pull away and instead pulled sehun's body onto him.
"uhm? jongin?"
"the situation, right? so you need the right moment and the feeling."
sehun nodded. "and then? how would i know if it's the right moment and the right feeling?"
jongin smiled, or rather smirked at the other but sehun was too dense to notice. "you know how it works. first you should have eye contact."
they both stare at each other for a while. then sehun nodded and said, "next?"
jongin leaned forward. "you make the first move and pull her body closer." jongin let go of sehun's hand so that he can put it on his waist while the other hand moves up to caress his cheeks.
sehun hummed.
"then you lean much closer."
and jongin lips met sehun's unexpected ones.

the continuous throwing of pebbles on his window is getting on sehun's nerves. he knew that it's no one else except jongin but after what happened last night, he knew he can't face his best friend now of all times.
he had been harbouring this feelings for so long that he tried to seal it so no one would ever notice it. then taeyeon came and he felt a sudden chance to forget his unnamed emotions towards his best friend. but why did he have to ruin that chance!
this is so unfair.
"sehun-ah!"
jongin shouted and sehun jolted because it's already past midnight and everyone's already sleeping. his parents' might storm on his room if jongin continues on shouting or worse, their neighbors might report them for disturbance.
sehun had no choice but to open his window up and look at jongin below with his expressionless face.
"i don't want to talk to you so please sleep in your own room." sehun said in a low voice, just enough for jongin to hear.
but jongin is a real brat. he didn't listen to sehun and instead climbed up to his window and when he's almost near, sehun immediately hold to his window to close it but before he could do, jongin is already stopping him.
"look, oh sehun. i kissed you last night okay? so can you please stop ignoring me?"
sehun gaped at jongin. "are you in--"
"and i really like to kiss you again if that's okay with you because i really like you and i have been thinking of kissing you ever since you show up in my room, in your bed hair and funny looking pajamas but that's okay because you're really cute and you don't know how much i tried to stop myself from doing that when you're awake."
jongin stopped because he knew he was blabbering and sehun's expression is not good like he will faint any minute now so he invited himself inside sehun's room and grabbed both of sehun's arms.
"i'm sorry because i kissed you everytime you're asleep but i really don't know how to deal with it so if you hate me, please say so because it really hurts when you're not talking to me."
a moment of silence has passed before sehun got recovered from the shock he had received upon hearing jongin's confession.
"you... like me?"
AN: GOSH I AM SO SORRY I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKED THIS /goes into hiding/
