He feels Junmyeon’s steady breaths huffing slightly in front of his face. Junmyeon’s face is really close from his, and he could see that it almost has no pimple -It’s because I remove my make-ups thoroughly, Junmyeon said after some tsks when he saw Sehun cleans his face only by a splash of water and some sloppy wipes here and there. He later helped Sehun cleans the latter’s face, though--, eyelashes fluttering faintly on his cheek as he breaths in and out, small amount of drool escaping through the corner of his half-opened mouth. If it was anyone else, Sehun will be disgusted, but he finds it cute since it’s Junmyeon -my Junmyeonnie-hyung, he adds selfishly.
It’s not like they’re in a romantic relationship or something like that, and that’s what makes Sehun goes insane because The Urgency to Kiss Junmyeon is still there.
Well, Sehun says to himself after some good seconds of observing Junmyeon’s sleeping figure, A peck won’t hurt, right?
Sehun steadies his uneven breath from the thoughts of kissing Junmyeon. It’s not like he hasn’t kissed anyone before, but still, it’s pretty nerve-wrecking to kiss someone you secretly like. And it becomes more difficult because he has to make sure he won’t wake the older up.
He carefully places his hands on the rim of Junmyeon’s bed, slowly inching closer to Junmyeon’s peaceful face. Sehun holds his contented sigh when he feels Junmyeon’s lips, warm against his. He quickly pull back after letting the kiss linger for merely a second, getting up to retreat to his own bed when Junmyeon’s cracked voice croaks, “Sehunnie?”
Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit.
“Sehunnie,” Junmyeon calls out again, now rubbing the sleep from his eyes and Sehun really has to restrain himself from screaming of how cute and childish Junmyeon looks like that and how he wants to squish the older in a big bear hug for… maybe forever, because Junmyeon is like, really cute and he looks like a lost child when he just wakes up.
Sehun keeps his mouth shut, of course.
“Why are you awake?” the older asks to the flabbergasting Sehun. Because how should he answer that question? I don’t know hyung I really don’t know because suddenly I was awoken from my peaceful sleep by God-knows-why and I was struck by this weird but not so weird urge to kiss you because you looks cute and insecure when you sleep even though you drools a little but it’s okay because you’re still cute and I couldn’t resist the urge so I kissed you. Just a peck, though. But I want something more than that, can we have it?
Sehun only realizes that he’s not using his inner voice when Junmyeon mumbles a small ‘What.’ with perplexed look on his face.
He almost hears Jongin snickers beside him when he mutters out 'I'm sorry don't mind what I said, good night, I mean good morning, well I'm going to sleep now okay, bye.', rushing back onto his bed and cocooning himself with the covers.
It's too bad that Sehun misses a small smile which suddenly crawls onto Junmyeon's lips as he watches the younger hurriedly concealing himself from Junmyeon's view.
But of course he perfectly hears Junmyeon's word before the older falls into a deep last-minute slumber again,
"I really won't mind if you wake me up everyday with those kisses, though."
