Sometimes, Luhan wants to scream at the girls waiting for them at the airport. They’re all trying to hand him presents-shirts, letters, stuffed animals, you name it-and if he were to take all of them he’d need a few more arms. He appreciates the gesture, but the reason it makes him so angry is that none of them ever give anything to Minseok.

Minseok’s underappreciated, in Luhan’s opinion. Luhan knows that Minseok is a better singer and a better dancer than he is, but his “image” prevents him from getting the spotlight he deserves.

Luhan came up with the Baozi nickname at first because he really was that infatuated with Xiumin’s face. It was perfect and round and clear of any blemishes. He was beautiful. But that nickname has almost been tainted in his mind now that its only use is to give Minseok some sort of personality in interviews, some way to stand out among the members who supposedly have better talents than Minseok does.

It’s not pity. Luhan’s actually jealous of what Minseok can do. He’s a force of nature, a living miracle, he’s the most fantastic person Luhan has ever met and-

Well, he’s underappreciated, in any case.

When Luhan’s on the internet, he finds countless pictures of himself, even more of Kai and Sehun, but Minseok is left with only a handful of active fan sites. There are never pictures that can capture the beauty of Minseok’s face, his small but perfect frame, and least of all his glowing personality. It frustrates him to no end. Nobody sees Minseok like Luhan does.

He doesn’t have a good camera, but it’s okay, because he doesn’t need a DSLR to evoke the breathtaking images that he’s looking for.

“Luhan!” Minseok laughs, smiling at his group mate, “what are you doing?”

“I’m taking pictures of you,” Luhan states the obvious.

“I know that,” Minseok says, “but why?”

“Because I like your face, that’s why,” Luhan replies. Minseok just shakes his head with a chuckle and goes back to washing the dishes in their dorm.

Luhan doesn’t just like Minseok’s face; he loves Minseok’s face. He loves his big eyes that look even bigger now that he’s lost weight. He loves the chubby cheeks he used to have and the flat cheeks he has now. He loves the gummy smile that shows a row of perfectly white, straight teeth. He loves his sharp eyebrows. He loves Minseok with black hair, brown hair, red hair, short hair, long hair, curly hair, straight hair. He’s pretty sure he’d love him with no hair, even.

Every night, Luhan goes through the pictures he’s taken of Minseok. There are about fifty pictures every day, on average, but sometimes there are as many as one hundred. Every single one of them looks great. Even if the lighting is bad, or it’s blurry, or Minseok is making a contorted face, Luhan thinks that he’s finally captured Minseok’s perfect personality.

He’s taken to filming videos of Minseok too. Sometimes Minseok is paying attention, singing a song or dancing or just talking, but more often than not, it’s just a covert video of Minseok sitting there reading or watching TV. Luhan knows people think it might be creepy, but he likes watching Minseok.
